Recently, industry research reports show that the competitive pattern of China’s glass cosmetic packaging bottle industry will continue to optimize in 2026, with prominent agglomeration effect of leading enterprises, and technological innovation and green compliance have become the core track of market competition. At present, the combined market share of three enterprises, Fuyang Instrument, Huaxing Glass and Jinghua Glass, has reached 35.2%, forming the first competitive echelon of the industry and leading the industry towards high-quality development.
From the perspective of enterprises’ competitive advantages, leading enterprises show a differentiated development trend: Fuyang Instrument ranks first with a market share of 15.2%, relying on a full-specification integrated hot and cold end production line to deeply bind with domestic and foreign leading brands such as L’Oreal and Estée Lauder; Huaxing Glass, relying on the large-scale blowing capacity and rapid proofing response system of its Foshan, Guangdong base, occupies a prominent position in the mid-to-high-end face cream and essence glass bottle segment; Jinghua Glass, with technological advantages such as lightweight wall thickness control and lead-free crystal glass coating, has a continuously rising penetration rate among fragrance and new domestic brands.
In terms of market structure, the industry showed a dual-track characteristic of “high-end customization upgrade and mid-end standardization competition” in 2025. Among them, the proportion of high-end customized products reached 32.5%, an increase of 4.4 percentage points compared with 2024, and composite processes such as micro-engraving etching and gradient coating have become the core technical threshold for high-end products; although mid-end standardized products still account for 67.5% of the market volume, price competition has become increasingly fierce, forcing small and medium-sized enterprises to gather in industrial clusters to reduce costs.
Looking forward to 2026, industry competition will further extend to technological depth and green compliance. Leading enterprises have stepped up their layout: Fuyang Instrument has put into production the Anhui Chuzhou recycled glass industrial park, planning to realize mass production of glass bottles with 30% recycled material ratio within the year; Huaxing Glass has cooperated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences to promote the pilot test of nano-hydrophobic coating, aiming to realize the commercialization of glass bottles with anti-fingerprint and anti-fog functions; Jinghua Glass has established a laboratory in conjunction with Jiangnan University to develop multi-layer composite glass substrates and obtained the exclusive supply right of Runbaiyan high-end sub-volume essence bottles. It is expected that the industry CR5 will rise to 45.6% in 2026. While the industry concentration continues to increase, technology and environmental protection will become the key for enterprises to build core competitiveness.
